Heavies in Los Angeles

I love Los Angeles. Super awesome city and area, not to mention the epic planespotting opportunities.

For these photos, I was positioned for arrivals on 25L. Unfortunately, Emirates, Lufthansa, and Air France went for the 24s. Can’t get ‘em all.

Qatar - Airbus A350-1000 - A7-ANS

Fiji Airways - A350-900 - DQ-FAJ

Singapore Airlines - 777-300ER - 9V-SWN

Southern Air - 777-200F - N704GT

China Airlines - A350-900 - B-18909

Hope you liked them. I have a TON of others but I’ll probably just post those to insta (aviator.Alec).

Let me know what you thought of the edits!

Amazing shots! It seems the A350 is taking over! :D

Why does the 777 have a blank livery? Is it for special cargo?

Not entirely sure. Kinda cool to see a “generic” livery irl tho 😂

Wow! Beautiful pictures! Amazing edits! 11/10! 🤩

Some cargo planes like Southern Air and Kalitta Air have blank planes. I saw them in Anchorage often. I’m guessing it saves on fuel.

Not really, there’s different reasons. The main one being that they’re likely leased aircraft.
