Hawaiian Flies to Cook Islands for the first time

Hello IFC.

As some of you may know Hawaiian Airlines has been expanding there route network over the past couple of years. First they announced a flights to Austin, TX then they announced flights to Orlando, FL and shortly after that they announced possible flights to London(LHR) on there Dreamliner when it is delivered. Hawaiian already flies to islands in the same general area like Papeete in Tahiti and Pago Pago in American Soma. Now they have added Cook islands to there route network. This route will be served on there A321 NEO. These flights will depart HNL once a week every Saturday and will Depart Rarotonga every Sunday. The flight is set to Depart HNL at 4:00 PM and land at 10:25 PM. It supposed to take around 6H & 25M.

Rip the HNL-MCO flights

What do you mean RIP

The flights got cut last year after about a year of operating.

Ah gotcha. Makes sense most people would probably rather go to the Caribbean and Miami because it is closer and much cheaper. I don’t really know why they started that route in the first place tbh

Yep, living in Florida the caribbean is far far more convenient. However, people still love Hawaii and go, during spring break multiple people around me at check in at JAX were going to Hawaii so I see both ways.
