Have You Ever Flown In An Aircraft Not Operated By An Airline Anymore?

I’ve always wondered about planes of that past that some airlines use, and don’t use anymore. Weather they were the icon of that era, helped build up/start the airline, or were just replaced by more efficient planes.

DISCLAIMER:

Defunct airlines do not count unless you have flown in an aircraft operated by that airline retired before termination! Nor do rare aircraft still in service by that airline. This is for commercial airlines ONLY!! :)

Anyways I’ll begin. I have to so I’ll just list them I guess. Well here they are!

•Air France 767

•Delta DC-9

•Iberia 737

I can’t wait to hear what you guys have flown on! Please tell me I have that you enjoyed flying in them! :)

Awesome! Hope it was great!

My company’s old Twin Otter count? Lol

Question: Does it have to be a schedule flight route or could it be a charter?

As long as it’s commercial. :)

Wonderful!

Three AirTran 717’s and one AirTran 737. Does this count?

737 and 712 is owned by Delta and a few other airlines so that does not count I believe

So its technically not owned by AirTran anymore.

Back in 2012, I was only 9 years old.

I took a Delta CRJ (couldn’t remember what kind of CRJ) from KSLC-KSFO.

Oops, thats what I get for not paying attention.

Delta still got all of their CRJs I think
Unless they had a -100

I don’t think that counts as Delta still owns CRJ’s.

Actually i checked their website and they don’t have the CRJs in their fleet anymore
