Have y’all ever been to the Boeing Factory, or maybe the Airbus one?
I toured the Boeing factory the day they grounded the MAX. This was also the same day they were supposed to unveil the 777X.
I went to the Airbus factory in Hamburg last week
i’ve been there last year
I work in one. There 5 days a week (shhhh…) 🤫🤫
I went to Seattle. My dad, an Alaska Airlines pilot heard over the radio that the 777X was landing at Tacoma. He texted me to be on a lookout, and sure enough, out my window we could see the 777X flying around. It’s was an awesome experience aircraft to see flying.
Maybe move this to Real World Aviation ?
I have been to the Boeing production plant in Everette three times, and went to the museum of flight at KBFI once. The last time I went in December 2022, a week or less after the last 747 rolled out. They closed tours at the time because they had to re-fit the old 747 plant for the 767s and 777s. When I went in 2020, I was able to see 747s being built. 2020 was the only time I saw the 747s or any plane being built.
A Mod or Regular would have to do that
I was out at BFI the other week
i did a Toulouse tour a couple years ago
That’s a cool tour.
I’ve seen the Boeing and Cirrus factories before. Cirrus has a factory right here in the great state of Minnesota!
