Yikes! Even pro’s make mistakes, luckily this one missed in everyone’s favor.

If I’m not wrong, is this his second close-to-death aircraft incident? 😂

EDIT: Nevermind, this is his 4th.

Correct! He crashed his plane in August 2015: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2015/08/06/ntsb-reports-cause-harrison-ford-plane-crash/31246511/

I think it’s time for him to stop flying. He’s had too many encounters with aviation that could have cost him his life.

I’m kind of surprised he didn’t go around or that the controllers didn’t send him around.

Controllers wouldn’t have been able to tell until the last second - the 20L final has to be flown at a 15degree angle to 20L to avoid overflight of 20R. So, you are technically lined up with A and C as you’re approaching, and only make the last 15 degree left turn to line up as you cross the highway. The tower is also perpendicular to the runways so the visual angle would be deceiving.

Over a lifetime of flying I think its natural to have some close calls. Give the guy a break.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. And this guy is about to become the Hercules of aviation. 😂

He must have landed on Charlie , going over the 737 holding short of 20L on its way to 20R.

This whole situation is actually comical

It’s pretty funny when you think about it.

Espcially when he said “what’s the airliner supposed to mean?” I laughed so hard…

I’ve got a bad feeling about this…

I know that he’s being looked into by the FAA, but he really needs to be looked into by the FAA. Meaning, he may need remedial training. Now, I don’t know what the weather was like at the time of the incident, but it’s pretty hard to mistake a tiny taxiway and the runway. Size’s aren’t even close. As for an incident that has occurred at KSEA a few times, the taxiway’s and the runways are roughly the same width.

It’s a Star Wars reference, but yes.
