Does anyone know if there are any rules in regards to people harassing other users using fighter jets? It really takes away from the experience and is extremely frustrating.

I wish. I don’t mind an escort if they are doing so appropriately, but sometimes they fly through my plane and it’s quite disruptive. I think the most you can do is report the user to a moderator if they have an IFC account connected, or message them asking them to stop. But no rules exist atm sadly

If you are in an ATC environment and neither of you have the Flight of XX suffix attached to your callsigns, this may be grounds to give the fighter a violation for “failure to maintain aircraft separation”. However nothing much can be done outside of that apart from ignoring them.
I personally don’t mind random escorts as long as they keep a good separation, either horizontally or vertically.

You can always request fighter escort from one of the fighter squadrons. We have absolutely no problem protecting you and your aircraft, and chasing the bogies away.

Thanks for the replies guys, I was flying from SFO-TOA in the CL35 and this user comes out of nowhere, flying below me, above me, through me, and then randomly taking dives and then lands on 6L at LAX like good lord help me.

them flying through you isn’t always on purpose, sometimes it’s just lag. I’ve done escorts for my friends and even when from my pov i’m a safe distance away, to them i’m already touching wings

Honestly, a wing rock acknowledgement usually satisfies them & they fly off in my experience
