So when a plane is airborne, I as TWR wants it to contact Unicom but somehow the option isn’t there, is this a bug or is this deliberate?

It’s available and there is no bug. People just chose not to listen to you.
Nope. They are on my frequency and I intend to hand them to Unicom but there is NO option for it, don’t assume, Wang, don’t.
I didn’t assume. The command you are looking for is called “frequency change approved”, but people don’t listen. There has been many discussions about this.
Thing is I had the option to hand them off to Unicom before and now it isn’t so, which is why I am suspecting a bug.

Oh so does the Unicom option only appear if they have a filed flight plan? There’s always a Unicom somewhere, especially in the region I control - WSJC & WMFC.
