Today on the Dublin airport news they put up a post to say that Hainan Airlines are returning to Dublin airport im so exited as ive never spotted this before but to all my irish folk out there what do u think?
I find this quite interesting as they are bringing back their flight to Edinburgh as well. Hainan clearly has the UK and Ireland as their focus at the moment. Hopefully this reopening of the route prompts Cathay to relaunch their Hong Kong to Dublin route as well!
Wow! I didn’t know they ever did this route! It seems like Delta will follow suit, with flights from Minneapolis to Dublin.
the old hong kong to ireland was legendary
I never got the chance to enjoy it, but I have friends that did and they say the sight of a Cathay A350 in Dublin took some getting used to.
Yeah i think they may come back aswell it is so good to see Dublin airports strength coming back after covid and all of these old airlines coming back i personaly feel so happy as means we get to go to china and perhaps in the future back to Australia!!
True and I guess the Hong Kong to Dublin flight opens up that ability to go to Australia and New Zealand as that would likely be a popular stopover point like it is for travellers from elsewhere in Europe
Yh very true
Can’t wait to work on them!
