Gusty Hop to Jersey [EGJJ]

As most of you know storm Ciara has been hitting the north-western part of Europe hard. Yesterday I jumped in a British Airways A319-100 and hopped over the English Channel from Gatwick to Jersey accompanied by @Speedbird_286. The weather in Jersey were terrible, with winds at 38kts and gusts of up to 51kts.

Due to strong gusts, my aircraft was blown right off course and I called it off by performing quite a powerful go around.

Good decision! Nice pictures too, where did you go after the go-around (second attemp or diversion?)

Thanks for the kind words! After the go around I came back 'round for another approach and successfully landed. If I wouldn’t made it then I would’ve gone back up to Gatwick.
