Hello Today I will give you a guide to the Cancun International Airport. this is to add realism when making departures /
approaches, and to use the correct terminal for each airline.

AIRPORT TERMINALS

Cancun Airport has 4 terminals.

  • Terminal 1: It is the one used for domestic flights, which are those that normally come from North America. This terminal also includes local charter flights, it is the smallest of the entire Cancun airport.

  • Terminal 2: It is the one used for international airlines as well as domestic and charter flights. It is the terminal with the best location since it is located in the center of the Airport, it has a total of 31 gates.

  • Terminal 3: It is practically the newest terminal at the Cancun airport, since it was inaugurated in March 2016 and will handle international flights from North America and Europe.
    It has a total of 16 gates

  • Terminal 4: Terminal 4 of the Cancun Airport is the most modern and innovative in Mexico. Terminal 4 of the Cancun International has 12 gates and this is used by international and national airlines.

DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL RUNWAY
  • Runway 12R is used for takeoffs.
  • Runway 12R / 12L is used for landings

When runways 30’s are in use, 30R/L will be used for takeoffs and 30L ONLY for landings.

Just for an update, terminal is now commonly use to park itnl flts that arrvs on T4 such as B6/F9 and some others from T3, also for acft in MX even diverted flts
