Guess the Aircraft (LHR Special)

Took a quick trip to LHR to do some spotting. Turns out the weather was horrible so the photos are poorer than I had hoped (posting later). Thought I would have some fun; guess the aircraft at LHR. That includes make, where it is parked, registration and anything else you can think of.

Correct guess/closest can chose the next global flight I take.

That, my friend, is a Boeing B777-300ER. At a remote stand or whatever they call it.

British Airways 777-36N(ER) ? G-STBE

I’ll complete my statement

  • Aircraft : B777-336ER
  • Airline : British Airways
  • Registration : G-STBD
  • Parking : Remote area in front of British Airways Hangar near British Airways Engineering. Not far from Eastern Perimeter Road and Envoy Ave
  • Engine : General Electric GE90
  • Age : 5 Years old
  • MSN : 38695
  • Model : 406590

It has been staying in Heathrow since yesterday after flying from HKG as BA28. Going to take off to BOM as BA139 at 12:29AM

Yeah, I’m using FR24 on my schools computer which are utter rubbish.

Aircraft: Boeing 777-336(ER)
Airline: British Airways
Registration: G-STBA (either this one or one other one. 50-50 chance, lol)
Serial: 40542
Manufactured: Boeing Everett Factory
Delivered: 09-JUL-10
Entered Service: 31-AUG-10

Edit: Forgot to put in the parking spot. It is in the BAE Maintenance area along Envoy Ave.

Closest parking spot in IF: Maint BAE 03. All you need to do is roll forward and turn left on the taxi line.

wait, if its the 77W shouldn’t it be the GE engines?

Yes 77W has the GE engines.

Not all of them, Some airlines choose to equip it with RR Trent 800. Though most of them use GE90

I thought the 777-300ER only uses the GE90 engines.
