Ground Speed Records | Part 2

All credit for the original thread goes to @AnonymouslyAnonymous. They created Part 1 but unfortunately are unable to edit it. This topic will be almost the exact same as that one. If you want to find that topic look no further than here.

The GS Record Database| Part 2

How’s the formatting?

Ok. The format will include all aircraft in Infinite Flight, each one having a record GS under it. I’ll also include a “Top Five” leaderboard of the highest GS Records broken on this database, I’ll include it as…(“Profile/User Name”)|(“Aircraft Type”)|(“Groundspeed”)

What proof/ How to set a ‘official’ record on this database?

To set a record you’ll need Evidence! Yes?
I want it to include this…

  • Show me proof of GS reached
  • Show me evidence that you are online! (No solo as you can obviously set the wind settings yourselves:p)
  • Show me proof of the model of aircraft that reached the record GS
  • ( Optional ) If you would also like you could also show me the tailwind at the time and your TAS (Mach num.)

Ya’ll should also neatly input info in this format including the pictures… (“Profile/User Name”)|(“Aircraft Type”)|(“Groundspeed”) the same format I’ll present it.

You can show me proof by taking images on your replay OR on LiveFlight unless you have another legit or better way of showing evidence.

Example-

And remember I won’t allow these glitches!

14,085 knots ain’t reasonable!

I’m also not allowing aircraft that are speeding over their actual capabilities (overspeeding)

(I’ll try to update the database every day if possible)<————(This statement might not be accurate) Also if this becomes a wiki it would be a GREAT help to have TL3s and above helping out.

Remember. This entire things of the GS Records was made by @AnonymouslyAnonymous. I am only helping out by making Part 2.

636kts with a 777-200F, (MMMX-)KDFW-EDDF

I didn’t even notice until I saw the replay, must have been a strong tailwind :)

I also managed to get 596kts with an A318 (KJFK-EGLC), but I think this evidence is not enough:

(^This was in 2018 when the replay feature didn’t exist yet)

Nevermind. Please show that yes you were on a live server when the photos were taken.

The 77F should be quite obvious that it was on a live server as you can clearly see the atc messages, but I also have this pic from liveflight (not with the same ground speed as I took this picture at the beginning of the flight):

On the screenshot with the A318 we can also see the atc symbol which isn’t there if the flight was on solo, but I also have found the logbook entry for the flight:

And to match the dates, here is a community post from me about that flight on the same day as in the logbook:

Can I get this one in the database @Zhopkins

Keep in mind, you can see the ATC communications on the Log. If you were on a solo server you wouldn’t have those. So, he’s definitely on a live server. :)
