Hello,
I am currently using a 4GB RAM device for IF 26.1.
It lags along with a bit of fps drop, especially after landing and when there are other numerous aircrafts at the airport. Sometimes it even crashes.
(Currently I have set the rendering resolution to low and all other settings are in medium by default, fps set to 30 by default)
I just want to know the best graphics settings to run it smoothly.
I would have a play around with various settings on a combination of Low/Medium. It’s hard to get a standard since every device has different CPU/GPU core number/power/efficiency etc. which all have an impact.
Hello
I’m using a Galaxy Tab 8 SM-X200. Smooth gameplay/flying hasn’t been possible since version 26.1—even though it worked fine before. I can’t imagine that all beta testers were using high-end devices and had reduced all rendering and graphics settings to low without anyone noticing. Could it be that the update isn’t compatible? Or that version 25 should have been uninstalled first?
Despite catastrophic stuttering and loading delays, my maximum minimum settings look like this:
Update:
I found a bug. The update to version 26.1 seems to be causing some issues. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. Now it’s running smoothly again. I hope this helps others as well.
Best regards,
Dennis
Try to clearing the cache after change your graphic settings.
To fix this, I recommend deactivating “uncontrolled airport” and “FIX” settings on the map, especially at large airports. Remember to deactivate them after creating your flight plan!
Also, turning off strobe lights after the plane takes off will affect your performance. It’s also better to reduce the number of players or turn them off completely while in the air. Turn them on while on the ground, though.
