Graphics not supported

I play IF on two devices. In the past, both devices allowed the user to adjust the terrain quality and airplane quality.
However, now on my iPad Air 2 there is no option to improve the graphics of the airplanes or terrain like there is on my other device, the Note 7.
Any ideas as to why and how to fix this?

You Cant change Airplane and terrain quality while you are flying
