Depends on which server as they have different requisites.
Our Training Server requirements have recently changed. This change was put into effect to ensure a proper transition from the casual server and to encourage proper behavior. Please see this post for the Training Server Requirements:
We have discovered an issue with the Training Server’s grade requirement which has now been resolved.
The grade required for entry was incorrectly reflected and the server has now been updated to the following:
Causal Server: Grade 1
Training Server: Grade 2 (previously Grade 1)
Expert Server: Grade 3
Users cannot have more violations than landings. It’s a 1:1 ratio.

The Expert Server is an online environment intended for serious users who understand all rules, procedures, and interactions with ATC. As of late the Expert Server has become increasingly chaotic with disruptive pilots who show no regard for other users. In an effort to improve the quality of the Expert Server environment the following changes will be implemented:
A pilot’s violation count may be no greater than 50% of their landing count.
Example: You may have no more than 50 violations if…
With the new expert server requirements , you may need to reference your total violations. Currently you are unable to see your total violations within the sim. However, you can use LiveFlight to see your total.
Spawn as a pilot at an airport. Be sure to make note of which server you are on (Casual, Training, Expert)
Using your internet browser, preferably on a separate device, go to http://liveflightapp.com
Press on the [image] icon to expand the settings.

Updated Grade Table
With the update that was pushed on May 18, version 18.2 comes with a new and improved look of the logbook. I have received a few messages from you folks regarding why you’re not a certain grade. Or why you bounced back a grade when you were a higher grade the day before.
One of the newer additions to the grade table now takes into account your ghostings (or Reports same thing) over a 1 year and 2 year period.
