Well, it’s official: 8 days after my first flight with the pro subscription, I’ve reached Grade 3. To celebrate, I’d like to share with you the most beautiful photos from my first flights !
My very first multiplayer flight (EPWA-EGLL)
My first long haul (EIDW-KSFO)
Preparing the flight to New-York (LFPG-KJFK)
DiscoverING Las Vegas (EDDF-KLAS)
Giving some love to Africa (HAAB-FAOR)
Last flight as Grade 2 (EBBR-KIAD)
Grade 3 !
Of course, I had to do a lot of traffic pattern operations to reach the required number of landings, but it was a great experience that really allowed me to appreciate the ATC feature.
What do I think ?
After this first week of exploring the pro subscription, I can say that, in my opinion, this simulator offers the best balance on mobile between realism, accessibility, and community. So far, it’s a big 10/10.
This is my first topic so feel free to let me know what I can improve in the future
Can’t wait to see you in the skies of the expert server !

Congratulations on reaching grade 3 and the expert server!
Here’s some helpful posts on interacting with ATC that might be useful
Hello everyone!
Many of you may already know me, but if not, I’m Jinco, ATC Trainer and Appeals Team member. Throughout the years I’ve been part of IFATC, I was able to notice many big and small details that live in the Expert Server skies. In this server, pilots should be professional, however, we as IFATC controllers often see inappropriate behaviour that should take place on the Casual Server only. I see already multiple topics similar to mine, but they are quite old and I wanted to let the …
Hey folks!
I was controlling ground at Sacramento during the Flash Flight this evening and there were a few repeating nuisances and errors from an ATC perspective that I thought I would bring up here!
1. Pushback Directions:
This is a new feature introduced in 24.4 and its clear that many pilots don’t understand the pushback directional commands correctly - see the image below - which demonstrates pushback paths from the gate shown in each direction:

Hello folks…
More and more controlling on the expert server shows me that lots of people won’t request / execute departures correctly…
So here is a little guide…
Departure to the…: Means that you are leaving the airport and its airspace. Select the general direction (North South Est West) of your flight and report.
Remaining in the pattern: Means that you will stay and play at the airport doing patterns. Select this when … you want to stay and play. Don’t use this one when departing pleaaase…
This is what Center expects from you when you contact them. This assumes that you are flying IFR, as almost all pilots do in Infinite Flight.
If you are departing and have a flight plan:
Upon contact, “Check-In.” ATC will respond with “Radar Contact.” If you Check-In you do not need to request Flight Following.
Center may or may not assign an altitude for you to climb to. Pay attention to the altitude because we assign them to help deconflict you from other surrounding aircraft.
If Center ass…

I was about to watch some tutorials on the Infinite Flight channel to help me using the ATC properly, but I’ll definitely take a look at these ! Thanks

Same I only got grade 3 this year and I started playing infinite flight in 2023
I think the most difficult aspect is the number of landings it requires I mean… I had to land 70 times in one flight to complete this part of the requirements
Took me 4 years
Started playing in 2021 and just made it to Expert this year.
Back then I definitely wasn’t a frequent flyer.

Oh yeah that’s undoubtedly the hardest part, I spent hours doing pattern work just to get my landings in.

Same, 90% of my flight time is from this year, I’m flying much more than I used to.

Nice, everyone try’s their best. Not to flex, just going with the flow, I got to G3 in 2.5-3 weeks. I’m definitely a frequent flyer

I’m going to G4 this month possibly
That’s really impressive, it’s not very easy to make it to grade 3 in such a short amount of time. Good luck getting to grade 4!
Thanks man! And keep the blue side up! Hope you get to G5 someday.
