Suddenly my GPS made a 360 degree turn south when flying autopilot on gps. Never happened before 2times in 1 flight.
Is this a known issue?

Where did it happen? Also, you need to out your device and operating system per Support category requirements.
The reason Iām asking where is that some areas like the poles have had issues reported in the past. If you could post a clip of the replay that would be the most helpful thing, although images from before and after would also be helpful
I think you are right. It happened by the shortest waypoints.
