Gotta love 100+ knot crosswinds

Always love flying from auckland to queenstown. Even more so when its actually staffed by atc for once. I also love when there are 100+ knot crosswinds to fly into cuz they are always fun

I flew from Keflavík (BIKF)-Boston (KBOS). What a crazy flight. FL340 I was dealing with Ext Turb and 134kt Crosswind. Descended to FL280 got out of the wind a bit but the Ext Turb lasted at least 35 minutes. I think it would be so cool if we were able to report wind and turbulence mid flight like on Aviation Weather Centers website.

If you approach Seattle from the east, when going over the mountains at certain times they’ll be some pretty rough winds, it got up to 120kts the other day.

The only time I experience such heavy winds is above FL320. I hit 147kts flying out of KLAS towards KCMH when I was about halfway there.
