The Goodyear Blimp is my neck of the woods for a NASCAR series race this weekend. It’s a very short flight to the racetrack from Goodyear airport so it gets parked there.

Got up and close to a few that are stored and scrapped. Sprirt has grown increasingly large over the past year here with their financial problems.

The Goodyear blimp was celebrating an anniversary today. Wasn’t it at the Shriners 500 at Phoenix?

Correct, it was the Shriners 500. The only other’s worth showing would be these 2. It was difficult to get anything decent because of the time of day I was there. Without having access to the grounds the lighting wasn’t good for the storage aircraft. May be different in the evening though.

That Airbus A321NEO
