Hello everybody! Boy, is this one a long time in the making. Attached below is my trip report that I just uploaded to my channel, but here’s a bit of background.

I’ve been into aviation my entire life. There are so many ways to embrace this.. sport, you can collect models, fly on flight simulators, become a controller, and more. I know for a fact I want to be a commercial pilot once I’m old enough and have racked up enough hours, but for now, I choose.. all of them! One big thing many aviators and airline reviewers do throughout their life is fly just for the experience, and not to actually get from point A to point B. Besides living right next to JFK, part of the reason that I’ve loved aviation for my entire life may be the fact I flew from a very young age. My first ever flight was JFK-SYR in 2010, on an e190. I don’t remember it at all, but that was the start. About 75% of the flights I took over the next decade were also on the e190… until, JetBlue announced its retirement and slowly started cutting flights with them. August 2021 was the last time I flew an e190, and since it’s such a big part of my life.. I wanted to give it a final goodbye. Since I’m still relatively young, the only way I could do this is through my parents. After months and months of asking many times to do this trip, as well as writing essays of reasons why I should.. it finally happened. I am grateful beyond words that my parents are able to support my crazy (and expensive) hobby of aviation. I spent some time scoping flights, and with only 9 JetBlue e190s remaining.. it was a bit difficult. At the time, the only flight in an e190 through jfk was JetBlue 817/818. To make it more complex, it is also only operated by the e190 on Saturdays. So, me and my mom booked the Saturday flight. We took an a321 there, B6518. This video is a trip report of that flight.
