Goodbye Air Berlin!!

Air Berlin has been struggling for a long time now. As of October 15, they’re no longer doing long-haul flights. Just recently though, it looks as though they are selling tickets as normal on October 31, but on November 1, they are selling ticket sale at a very high price. Why does this matter? If they cease operations, then the only way they could transfer passengers to another airline on that route is by selling tickets at full price. That way the airlines would accept those transferred passengers. It’s confusing. 😀

This topic is pretty similar - covers Air Berlin ceasing long-haul operations and filing for insolvency. I would advise continuing discussion there. :)

This is a duplicate unfortunately. The topic linked by @Bobby above is the one you need to look at :)
