Not their finest hour.
Wow BA, just WOW
That’s why people must fly with BAVA! It’s much faster and 100% you will be delivered to the right place 😆
I am perplexed right now. I read the article and I still don’t understand how this happened.
Pilots should of used FPL to IF
wow such a starnge thing to happen!
Flight was LCY to DUS, however the Dispatcher filed for EDH and the crew accepted it and flew it. Going to be a few intresting "meetings without biscuits " over the next few days…
Just saw this on the BBC website 🤦♂️…wonder if the leasing company used pilots from here, come on fess up, who was it 😂
I wonder what the passengers were thinking…
Like the moment when someone realizes they have been flying over England for 45 minutes😬
Apparently the aircraft was on a wet lease from a Germany company called WDL Aviation so the pilots weren’t from BA
Most of them probably had no idea 😂
I mean, I can kinda understand a plane landing at a runway at a nearby airport with a parallel runway, but at an airport that’s literally 500(or so) miles in the opposite direction… 🤦🏼♂️
At least the passengers didn’t need to go through customs and immigration.
The bogs were blocked as well, so that was an epic fail all round.
Yes it’s amazing how this has happened in this day and age!
Here is a video in it as well:
this link for video!
This is funny! 😂 Flew in opposite direction.
Not the first time a plane lands at wrong airport though.
Those two stories are mildly understandable. This one is just… what? 😂
I agree! Would you not notice that you are heading to the wrong place!
Just amazing :D
Wow they actually let @RTG113 become a pilot
Blunder aside I can think of worst cities to accidentally arrive in, Edinburgh is fantastic 🙂
Amazing this can even happen
