I’m guessing since you’re a member, and have put this in general, you mean TV. I recommend the show ā€œIce Pilotsā€ on Netflix (at least in the US). It’s a great show and depicts the lives of pilots in the NWT (CA) flying DC-3’s, Electra’s and forgotten beauties like that around, cool stuff.

Air Crash Investigation on National Geographic. It’s very well done and very realistic. It’s pretty much about how different crashes get investigated.

EDIT: If you want to view it check out this post: Air Crash Investigations Season 16

Seconds From Disaster is also awesome too. It’s aired in National Geographic every Wednesday in here. Although not all of this program’s episodes are Aviation-related. But it is a nice program to watch and more entertaining that ACI imho šŸ˜‰

@Banayres125… MaxSez: UTube has it all. My favorites:

  1. Worst place to be a pilot
  2. Ice Pilot
  3. Aviation Documentaries- General Search

Worst place to be a pilot never gets old. I’ve watched it at least 3 times, sucks you can’t find more than 5/6 episodes.

@Kevin… Gotta agree My friend, WORST Place is the best! Flew many trips in a ā€œPorterā€ in SEAsia back in the day. One of the reasons I’m almost bald! LOL… Regards, Max

CFR for code of federal regulations. AC-43.13-1B. acceptable methods and techniques. Airframe&powerplant courses… if you are interested in aviation maintenance that is.

Thanks Eveveryone!!!

Ready for Takeoff was a great show. You can check it out here:

If you scroll down to the bottom, you can also see the latest season from last year. I’m hoping there will be a new one this year, or maybe even with Jetstar. Season 2 had less viewers unfortunately, and it doesn’t look like the channel normally produces more then 2 seasons for these shows.

Also, you/a regular might want to change the title to programmes instead of programs, they mean 2 completely different things.

Also another one I recently watched was ā€œA very British Airlineā€. It’s about the operations of British Airways. Aired on BBC so again very good quality. It’s anything from being a flight attendant to the guy who takes the waste from the plane. Worth a watch :)
