You shouldn’t read anything into that, there are loads. It just means it has a good practice layout.
I had training sessions at EDDP (Leipzig), FAOR (Johannesburg), KMLB (Melbourne but in the US), LIMC (Milan Malpensa)
For some more great training airports, here’s a blog post written by one of our community ATC Trainers. Check it out!
KFLL, KSMF, EGCC are some good ones in addition to those mentioned above as they are close to other major airports so you should get some traffic.
Edited: some have already been cited ;)
Got a list of interesting airports to train at, with different kinds of training.
I have some other ones if needed, don’t hesitate to shoot me a PM.
Don’t forget EGLL
EGLL is tricky on Training Server. The trainee need a place where he can be sure to work in a prefessionnal environnement as possible.
Casual server: allow us to introduce my self
Casual wouldn’t be the best choice to be introduced on ATC training 🙂
I used these airport for ATC training.

Thank you guys so much for all this! I wasn’t expecting this many replies! I will open at all of these airports at different times and days if possible!
I Just opened @SBSP So tune in for pattern work if you can!
I’ll just add on a few that I used to practice. I used KTEB for interesting runways. For parallel runways I used GCLP. I do hope this helps you on your journey to IFATC. Good luck!
Thanks aton! I’ll write those down, Im open now btw! check out my thread Paul_G's ATC Tracking Thread - [OPEN] @ SBSP [PASSED WRITTEN]
Hey man, B-LCK. Thx for your service.
You did very good! You were close to do some failures but corrected them just in time. Nice spot for runway assignment ;). Well done.
Also for the sequencing. As far as I’ve recognized, the sequencing for all aircraft was good.
Only one thing:
See you next time!
KROA if you wanting a challenge for you and the pilots.
Parallel and mountains to contest with.
Haha thanks so much! I realized I was really close to making mistakes but quickly had to fix them! And for the transition alt, yeah I realized I usually just add a little extra to play it safe, not too much nor too little! I appreciate you a ton for coming. It really helps me alot.
Noted! l’ll check it out after this session
I personally use KLAS for intersecting and KFLL for parallel. I also use WSSS, RKSI, RJAA, and KSMF
