I haven’t been plane spotting in about 8 months, and I was bored yesterday so what better thing to do than go spotting.

This are my best spotting shots yet, hope you enjoy them!

Lens: Canon EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 paired with a new Skylight lens

Starting off with a great catch here as an Avelo 737-700 takes off to Burbank.

Next up, an Alaska E175 making its way to SEA. The first picture below is a different plane that just landed to avoid any confusion 👍

Now we have the helicopters, one for REACH air medical services, and the other 2 for private use. In the last picture you can see the burnt trees from the fires we had here in Santa Rosa about 6 years ago.

Yea no problem. I use the 90D, which is a little pricy. Do you wind telling me how much your lens and camera cost?

I couldn’t tell ya, they were both purchased in 2009 so the price has changed a lot.

A refurbished 400mm lens is ideal honestly, it gets the range done and it isn’t too expensive

Spectacular shots as always @Darkspoul! I went up to Napa earlier in the year and I can confirm, the scars of the wildfires are still there on the mountainsides

Meet N705VL. The biggest headache Avelo provided the west coast with. This plane has given us countless headaches and delays. Nonetheless, great photos!
