Yep, 8000 nm out of a 22000 nm trip around the equator.
Wow! How many fuel stops can you calculate Mark? @Mark_Denton
I have a minimum of 3 fuel stops planned with a 4th one as an alternate just in case. Going to try to make it with 3 though. Trimming the aircraft properly is essential to gain a little better fuel efficiency along with knowing the winds aloft. @Michael_Weinblatt
Spotted @Mark_Denton departing the highest airport on the equator , my favorite airport SEQM to an unknow location (android device) maybe an equatorial flight around the world
How does the trimming work. Seems you know a lot??
Please see this tutorial made by the wonderful Mark Denton :)
Please DM me if you have more questions!
Thanks a lot :) I will
I will be posting a new video tutorial on trim once global is released or close to it. @Subhaxs Yeah, trim is essential. It doesnt really play much of a role in the public build right now with exception of taking off and landing (along with recalibrating) to relieve constant “back pressure”, however, it is a necessity with Global flying and managing fuel burn efficiently. Its just another one of those features/physics that have been implemented to mirror real world flying. As a real world pilot, we care always adjusting trim as well.
Great to hear! I’m sure you’ll have lots of new tutorials to do! Thanks for making them!
Oh we have been very busy with these already.
Will these come out along with global? Just before or after?
Your gone already aren’t you.
@AdamCallow on his way to RKSI from EGLL :)
After Global but as close to the release as possible.
Escorted him out of the airspace, safe travels Adam!
When the next Beta release is up (for beta testers obviously) take a look at JFK ATC and try to get the difference.
(Hint. It’s the best change that JFK in IF will have in a long time).
That would be Mark Denton ;)
Ok this is great, If all goes well that’s a big sign of Improvement
To the left of @Mark_Denton he has Madagascar and to his north he has Africa! I bet it’s beautiful!!
