The Concorde will be a great addition… Once Global releases. Too bad we won’t see that for a while. We don’t know the exact release date of Global, AND the devs are working on the DC-10/ MD-11 right after that. So… xD

Im pretty sure the departure/arrival boards were a dropped hint that AFK flights will be a possibility with a flight status board on your notifications with where you are on your flight. Thats what I took from it at least.

On one point where she is over the desert the ground at least looks desert-ish.

Not really. Remember Laura posted that Global scenery was completely white when she tested it on Android. A lot of bugs to fix then :)
Not really, if you look closely she’s at an airport in IF.
The airport should’ve rendered ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Btw note that all airports are already present, they just aren’t detailed enough

Yeah, exactly. FDS just need to optimize Global for mobile. The reason for the scenery looking completely blank in the mobile picture is basically the same reason you can’t run a full version of Photoshop on an iPad. It needs to be optimized as mobile devices do not have the capabilities of a modern laptop or desktop computer.

I think that is just a filter on the image, or your screen. It showed a completely white background on my Mac when I looked at it earlier today. The Concorde would be really nice to see, especially with Global flight…

This is not just about can one developer fly round the world. This is not whether there are 11,000 sites marked on the globe where a plane can land. This is not can a plane fly transatlantic using LNAV and successfully pass the floating error bug.
This is about usability. Providing Global has a high expectation. Will the terrain which is going to be used render everywhere? Will there be enough waypoints globally to satisfy the user base?
After all when Global does come it must meet your level of acceptance. Anything less then you the user will not be happy.
Yes you have definitely seen the framework but it is not done until the high standards expected for the WHOLE planet have been completed!
