Global Airlines A380 Inaugural Flight!

On May 15, 2025, we joined Global Airlines on their historic inaugural A380 flight from Glasgow to JFK as part of our ongoing collaboration. Their livery has been available in Infinite Flight for some time now, but this was our chance to experience the real thing and bring the community along for the ride. From departure in Scotland to arrival in New York, we documented the entire journey—getting exclusive access to rarely seen parts of the aircraft, including the crew rest areas and even the avionics bay.

Glasgow to JFK seems like a pretty unique route to do with an a380. Definitely doing it in the summer

Nice video! It’s cool to see the meet and greet you all had

This will definitely make a good 1st flight of the summer, the only downside is that Glasgow isn’t 3D but it’s whatever I’m not that player who will avoid all non 3D airports no matter what

Great video Dan! Glasgow → JFK is definitely an interesting route choice.

Awesome video Dan!!!

11th reply??? Benny is slacking!

Probably because it was posted at 3:24am my time - which then begs the question as to what Dan was doing up at that time…

(Also mine was the 9th reply…)

Lol, I was looking at the little counter in the bottom right hand corner :joy: That is a really good question though. What are you doing up at such an obscene hour, Dan? If you were in New York that would make more sense…

Yeah I stayed up pretty late to get the video out, and then I majorly crashed out

But why did the livery end up being different?

I don’t see them in 10 years time given the predicted economic uncertainty, but I wish them luck!

Nice video! I might be able to see her take off on the 21st!

You are lucky the last A388 we got was BA192 back in March the 31st.

Excellent video as always! Happy to see you back in my home city and I’m so happy that Global Airlines is joining the ever growing variety of airlines at JFK
