[Gliding_Central's]-[ATC Tracking Feed]-[CLOSED]-[EGCC]

Hello, fellow community members, I would like to announce that I am currently operating at “EGCC” Tower for a couple of hours to practice for becoming an IFATC controller! It would be great to have your feedback as it would help me massively to be able to provide great ATC services to the community!

(If you haven’t guessed it is on the training server! =D)

(PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTION’S) I hope I can provide you the best possible service possible!

  1. I was the only person in the pattern with another inbound to 23L. You should have allowed the change to 23L.

  2. The only time you should issue a pattern entry (enter right downwind, base or straight in) is when the aircraft is inbound or your changing their runway.

  3. I’m allowed to request a departure to insert direction. No need to tell me to check the tutorials. 😡 lol

  4. That back taxi exit command was 👌.

Feedback:

  • I’ve asked to switch to RWY34 from RWY28, you said ‘continue taxi’. Therefore, I continued taxi to 28. When I’ve requested to cross RWY 34 to get to 28, you approved me to change frequency??? What was that for? I was tuned to ground which was kind of responsible for me before the runway. And also, I was already instructed to change frequency when you’ve said ‘taxi to ray 28, contact ground when ready’… I was not ready as there was a runway (34) ahead of me.

  • Good pattern, clearance was given at a right time. But why left traffic? If there was an aircraft inbound on 34, I would potentially collide (I’m on downwind, he’s on final)

That was some stupid error that I mustn’t do again. With your second statement, I was completely stupid because I forgot to look at where you were at the time. I knew what was a stupid mistake that will NEVER happen again.

So sorry I am trying to revise for my GCSE’s as they call it here in the Uk and also trying to practice my ATC skills. Once again thank-you for your feedback on making me better as an ATC controller.

Yeah, I was going to say that. Anyway, I have a few things to say.

Firstly, I don’t know if you meant to say extend upwind or when I was on the upwind of Runway 10 but you said extend downwind. I replied when I was on the downwind.

Also when I was taxiing to the Runway 10, I accidently asked if I could cross Runway 10 when I was crossing 16. When I wanted to say “correction stand by” you replied saying that I could cross runway 16. So good spotting on that.

Last thing, when I said that I was on final, “full stop”, you told me to avoid unnecessary reports. A bit confused on why you did that since if I do that on the Expert Server, even without traffic, they don’t tell me that. Instead they say “Roger”.

Overall, I liked your work. Good job
