Hey everyone,
Back in early 2020 during the COVID lockdown, I passed the IFATC written exam. My first practical didn’t go well, I just didn’t know enough back then. But I kept going, trained hard with an amazing trainer, and was told I was more than ready for my second attempt.
Sadly, nerves got in the way. I knew I had what it takes, but I choked under pressure. I walked away feeling like I’d never be able to pass something like that, that maybe I’m just not cut out for it.
Here Is my tracking thread for back then : IFflyer's ATC Tracking Thread - [CLOSED] @N/A - #8 by IFflyer
Now, 5 years later… something in me wants to try again.
Before I do, I’d love to open a session on the training server and see if I’ve still got it in me. If anyone’s willing to hop in and do some pattern work and provide feedback, it’d honestly mean a lot.
I’m open now at Toulouse Blagnac LFBO, Training Server.
Thank You.

It went well, but then again only 3 players joined, with one of them departing, not doing pattern work, I really wanna do it again soon with much more workload to really challenge myself.
Sounds great!! Let me know whenever you’re practicing, I’d love to join and help you out in anyway I can. @GarlicIceCream

I will definitely be doing ground and tower tomorrow. I’ll update on the time.
Any recommendations for popular airports people have been getting on their practicals? I got Panama for the one that I failed unfortunately.
Anyone who wishes to join would be doing so with the intent of benefit to a fellow pilot.….not any trolling pls
.
Lmk if anyone else wants to practice, and if I can join I will definitely be doing some pattern work.
If you have made up your mind want be IFATC? Then try ATCMH will good for work!

I’m happy to come, but can you use the World Coordination Time(UTC/ZULU/GMT)? I don’t know what time it is in the Eastern United States.

Thanks for having me!
Big A 2HH feedback:
Transition: should be at 2500ft, remember it is airport alt + 2500
Pattern 1:
Pattern Entry + sequence good!
Could have cleared earlier but good!
Runway change requires a new pattern entry, remember that. But good clearance!
Pattern 2:
-good clearance
adjust speed ahead unnecessary, once a plane has been sequenced, it is the pilot’s responsibility to maintain separation
-no need to tell me to make right traffic
Ground:
-all good
Pattern 3:
-was trying to make a G/A with Airbus 222, but he self G/A
-no pattern entry for runway change
-landing clearance good
-cleared airbus 222 for FS not the option
Pattern 4:
extend upwind was not necessary, neither was the crosswind
if you have a upwind conflict (which you didn’t) here is how you would deal with it:
-issue extend upwind
-don’t call crosswind!!
-give pattern entry + sequence and new clearance
-dept was good!
Thanks for having me!

Hello! Amazing controlling, just one little feedback!
Just a quick note, when you clear an aircraft for the option, you only need to include a direction (e.g. “make left traffic”) in a few specific cases:
-During the initial takeoff clearance
-After a runway change
-If you want them to switch traffic direction (from left to right, or vice versa)
If the aircraft is staying in the same pattern direction and on the same runway, just saying “Cleared for the option” is enough, no need to repeat the direction every time.
other than that, pretty flawless.
That Is very helpful, I’m sure I needed to hear that as well! Thank You!
Got it man. Thanks for your help. Ill keep these in mind.
Thanks for the airshow as well
