When the ATC panel is open and the orientation of the phone is flipped, the game will get stuck on the ATC panel and there is no way to come back to the main flight other than killing the whole app. After restarting the game gives to option to resume the last saved flight.

Oh I think that sending a message will close the panel automatically. I will try it once and get back to you. Regarding screen zoom settings is normal, nothing changed in that part.
