General Aviation and COVID-19

Hello all,

Myself and a few other pilots have volunteered ourselves to support the NHS and deliver critical medication and equipment should there be a need for it, we are on ‘stand-by to help during the COVID-19 crisis’. Personally I can see us delivering medical equipment to the isolated islands of NW Scotland, where only a limited amount of aircraft can access, but nothing has been confirmed yet!

I’ll keep you all updated!

Stay safe :)

Neat! It’s great to see people like you doing all you can to help! Thank you!

Hopefully all goes to plan and we can start helping out!

Nice to see you, and others, doing their part to help combat COVID-19, this is great to hear. Thanks, and stay safe!

A small update, all the pilots involved are due to take a conference call soon, to discuss how this is going to work. It’s looking more and more likely that we’ll be flying to the Inner/Outer Hebrides, generally most of the islands there are unaccessible by car/truck so rely heavily on air transport, we would all be proud to deliver critical supplies when needed!
