Chances are that if you fly into an airport, you fly into an airport, you will see that there are either gate numbers on the jetbridge or on the terminal that show the arriving gate. This would be helpful for many reasons, most predominantly finding the arrival gate if you have a specific one from various sites like FlightAware or Flight Stats, and to actually have an understanding as to which gates are where. Especially at the major airports like SFO, DEN, CDG, and JNB that are confirmed that have a vast number of gates and terminals, this would be very helpful for gate location.
What a cool feature request! This would be incredibly helpful, because currently I need to count the gates from some kind of unique point (taxiway, street, …) in order to find the IRL gate I want to park at, while with this request I would only have to look at the numbers. I personally would prefer having them on the buildings, but either way would work.
Thanks for the request!
Voted!! Yes this would be amazing!! Although idk if it will get added because it will take time for them to get the right gates for every airport i’d assume, but I hope so… now that it’s in beta tho not sure how many tweaks they will be making…
Definitely needed! However, I feel as though this may be difficult. This kinda means a cross between the work done by the devs and the work done by the IFAET (the ones with all of the gate info). I’ll be freeing up a vote for this though!
