Gate bridge and plane door not working

When i wanted to push back at ZHHH Gate 331, i clicked the ‘PAX’ button to close the door , but the front door of the plane did not close.

So i tried to click ‘PAX’ again , then another boarding car was coming up to the back door and the back door opened.

Until the end i still couldn’t close my door and the boarding bridge did not even move.

Is that an unknown error?Thanks!

Have you left the flight? If not auto start and that should do the trick.

I am unable to reproduce your situation.

Able to reproduce, though by chance (I needed 3 attempts before getting that). With an S20; Android 13; latest IF version.

There are literally no steps. The step is luck.

  1. Spawn in an online server (perferably casual);

  2. Disconnect PAX GSE;

  3. Pray the jetbridges don’t disconnect;

  4. You’re forever stuck with jetbridges. You can also go fancy and reconnect PAX GSE to get stairs at the back.

I tested it out at OEJN, but no “luck” there (yet). Could be a ZHHH-only issue (works at gate 332 there as well).

Reproduced with 777-200ER on all 3 servers.
At ZHHH Gare 331.
IF released version 24.3.2

Works on gate 332 the same way. Always.
But not at all on gate 334.

While the 757 didn’t connect to the jetbridges at 331 but get the stairs in the front instead I assume that it has something to do with relativ position of the aircraft’s doors to the jetbridges.

Since this seems to be a bug with that gate and that gate only, I’ll inform the editor of this airport.

It’s not a jet bridge issue. I checked the editor when trying to reproduce it and everything was green with all jet bridges.

Please read through the topic instead of assuming it is an editor issue.

Before 24.3 I’d get stairs instead of gates sometimes, but the door usually closed.

Think about it.
May be you are not the only one who could check a airport in the editor?
