Hello everyone! Today, I’m requesting a livery that would be a fantastic addition to the Infinite Flight wide-body fleet: the Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330-200.
While we already have the A330-300 and A330-900neo, the -200 variant is a legendary “workhorse” for the Indonesian flag carrier that truly deserves its spot in the sim.
About Garuda’s A330-200
The Airbus A330-200 played a pivotal role in Garuda Indonesia’s “Quantum Leap” modernization program. Introduced in 2009, it was the aircraft that marked the airline’s historic return to Europe, specifically on the Jakarta–Dubai–Amsterdam route.
For over a decade, it served as the backbone for medium-to-long haul routes where the -300 lacked the range and the 777 was too large. It bridged the gap, connecting Indonesia to destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East with efficiency and comfort.
• Total Units: Garuda Indonesia operated up to 11 Airbus A330-200 aircraft (registrations PK-GPH through PK-GPR).
• Capacity: Configured in a two-class layout (36 Business / 186 Economy or 18 Business / 242 Economy).
• Engines: Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, known for their iconic sound and reliability.
Livery Description
The A330-200 wears the stunning “Nature’s Wing” livery, designed by Landor Associates.
• The Tail: Features a vibrant “Nature’s Wing” graphic on the vertical stabilizer, utilizing shades of blue and aqua to represent the ripples of Indonesian waves and bird wings.
• The Fuselage: A clean, pearl-white body with the “Garuda Indonesia” logotype in a custom font.
• The Symbol: The iconic “Garuda” bird logo remains subtly placed near the cockpit windows.
Why It’s Needed in Infinite Flight

Realistic Routes: Many real-world routes operated by Garuda (like Bali to Melbourne or Jakarta to Tokyo) are flown by the -200. Without it, we lack the “long-range, lower-capacity” option for Indonesian regional ops.

Regional Presence: South East Asia is a highly active region in Infinite Flight. Adding this livery would boost realism for one of the world’s most awarded 5-star airlines.

The “Workhorse” Appeal: The A330-200 has a distinct look compared to its longer sibling. Its shorter, stockier fuselage paired with the Garuda colors is a favorite among aviation enthusiasts.
