Hello,
I successfully connected my IF with Garmin pilot App, most of the features work.
My question is how to get a live traffic data?
I can see only myself in it, not other aircrafts, which are flying around me in IF?
Hello! Seriously did you get it? How? Talk more
Whatâs this feature?
Oh man you gotta make a tutorial!
Unlike Foreflight, Garmin Pilot app gives a 30 days trial.
Hence, I tried it out and several features work.
IF Settings:
In IF enable the ForeFlight Link via settings > general.
In Garmin Pilot app:
Login, once itâs open just open IF in a separate device, for example I opened IF in my iPad and garmin Pilot in my Android phone.
Make sure both are in the same Wifi network.
The Garmin Pilot app will automatically detect the IF as sim input for its gps and AHRS.
As you fly in IF either in casual, training or expert servers, you can see your aircraft in the Garmin app.
Ps: Garmin Pilot gives only 30 days of trial.
Thank you.
hey there, I believe you canât get other aircrafts to show in Garmin Pilot because theyâre not connected to it. I recommend LiveFlight for tracking yours and others flight
Is that same with foreflight?
i believe so but iâve never used foreflight so
I see, but if there was an option to get live traffic from the servers, it would be amazing. Maybe someone using foreflight or Garmin app can help us out.
Thanks for sharing @Noodle_Duck . I will try here.
but still the apps are made for irl flying and not Flight sim. But that will be a great feature!
Itâs my pleasure @Murilo_Heindrich
Cheers Have a great dayâď¸

Here is the link a short clip Click here
Features like Terrain and Synthetic Vision are working.
Nice! Just a FYI youâre over speedingđ
Itâs in causal server mate đ, wanted to check out if over speed warning triggers, in garmin Pilot app but it did not.
I just found this video Foreflight displays, real traffic with respective of the server we are flying in. Click here
Interesting. But itâs foreflight not Garmin Pilot
Yeah, will try out others features maybe will contact Garmin Pilot Support, they can help.
I suppose this is what makes the difference between an IF âsupportedâ third party app (ForeFlight, LiveFlight ConnectâŚ) and the others.
They probably established some agreement with ForeFlight. But these same agreements may also include an exclusivity clause preventing the support of other competitive apps (Garmin, Navigraph, NDPâŚ).
These are assumptions only so letâs hope Iâm wrong and we may see some full compatibility with other apps in a close future for pilots to have the choice depending on their preferences.
Absolutely mate, as foreflight is available only for iOS devices, not for Android. While Garmin is available for both Ios and Android making it more user friendly. Likewise letâs hope in future IF gives options to add wide variety of apps, making it one for the best Sim in the market.
