Device: ipad
Operating system: ios
Can you please specify exactly which iPad model you have and the exact OS version.
This isn’t enough for us to help.
I think that he doesn’t know or remember which iPad and iPadOS is he actually using.
To check that, he can go into Settings → General → About. All the device information is available there.
Lol i love posts where an issue like this the user should know he will get qiuck repies but neglects to check or reply to questions many hours/days later
Thr automatic download of planes over cellular data, does turning this off help FPS?
There’s no direct correlation, but…
When the option is disabled, aircraft and liveries that have already been downloaded to your device will show up when users around you are using them.
Aircraft and liveries that haven’t already been downloaded will not show up.
If they aren’t showing, they will not be rendered, and they will not affect the FPS.
The amount of things that is rendered does affect the FPS.
That is why Airplane Count is an important setting to set to “Low” when the app is crashing.
What about 3D objects density settings?
Does it affect app crashes too?
Well I am using iPad Air 3 iOS 26.4.2 with none aircraft count
3d object density is high
I tried clearing cache and didn’t work
That also does affect the amount or RAM being used.
