Hi so i was on final of KJFK runway 22l and when ATC cleared me to land, and as soon as i replied my game played like a static bugged sound then froze completely, i exited the app then came back and around 5-10 seconds later my game crashed. I entered IF again, and found that i can resume my flight, but i was exactly 30 minutes from arrival, and now i have to repeat all of the approach again, this was my first time my app crashed on final like this, ill list more info down.

Typically when that sound is observed, your device ran out of memory resources so the operating system force closes the app. You could lower your aircraft count and lower the 3D object density to improve performance (less resource intensive). As always, the development team is constantly working on improving the live servers and ATC experience, they monitor issues like these and work to optimize things. Try lowering your settings as explained, that should help smooth things out for you. It’s also good practice to ensure you close out all background apps, and restart your device before flights to keep things fresh. Blue skies!
