Game Composites GB1 GameBird

I’m kinda on a hunch for light aerobatic aircraft and I don’t think something like this has been requested yet… Especially in this category of aviation…

This Plane is for sale too 🫣

Game Aerospace

This is the GB1 GameBird, by the new and upcoming company Game Composites that originated in 2017 in the UK. With a G-Force Rate of + or - 10 g’s, this is the holy grail of the aerobatic world. Every single plane is made to order in Bentonville, AR, and is mostly made of Carbon fiber, bringing it to 2,200 lbs (998 kilos for my euros). I came upon this company from surprisingly a Cleetus McFarland Video, which I’ll link below, touring the facility they build these airplanes in. (Cleetus is 6’7 for reference)

These planes are made for tall and lanky people, like myself, and the CEO Phillipp Steinbach, could never find another airplane that had as much leg room as the GameBird that he designed. Affordable? Somewhat but yes… $450 g’s will get you one of these bad boys fully built for yourself. and I’ll tell you, if I win the lottery, you’ll probably catch me flying one of these.

Ohhhhh and the Avionics are so simple yet so BEAUTIFUL…

I don’t know but I feel like a plane like this will be a stepping stone for IF, as we don’t have an acrobatic plane anymore because of the Super Decalathon being removed. This is also a low wing aircraft so it would be so much more fun to fly, as the controls are super snappy and responsive. Let me know what you think!!!

I hope this one gets approved  Happy Flying and Cheers!!
