It has been a while since I have made a spotting topic, and the reason for that being I haven’t got around to editing photos. However, now over the past few days I have gone through about 500 photos from all over the U.S., and the first topic I am making is from my 4th of July trip to Mackinac Island for a family reunion. I spent lots of time at Mackinac Island Airport (KMCD), and it was rather busy (movements every 15-30 min. or so) for a smaller GA airport. KMCD is very unique in that visitors can peruse around the ramp, checking out the aircraft parked, and also get very close to the action on the runway.
Anyways, here are my favorite pictures!
N313ET | 2013 Cirrus SR22T
N23GD | 1978 Cessna 172N
N761SP | 1978 Cessna 210M
N911CF | 1979 Beech F90
N911CF Photo #2
N874PW | 2011 Cessna 510
Sick TBM 900 didn’t get the registration
N1533D | 1952 Cessna 195
Hope you enjoyed. It was a refreshing change spotting GA activity instead of commercial aircraft. I highly recommend KMCD for spotting, as there are lots of different places to watch and photograph/video from.
