when i click open fpl im clicking it and its not working im using samsung btw

i got it to work i found a way

yeah samsung is a bit different, I use IOS so it’s airdrop for me… I heard people with android saying they email it to themselves but there must be a faster and better way to import the file…

btw, what I forgot to mention… when you create these fpl’s, you can leave a lot of coordinates out, especially those when flying in a straight line. I’ve marked those which can be left out with a red line in the image (just an example). only add the points where the course changes

Low Lift

  1. I’d suggest googling any airline name + route map. (ex: United airlines route map = United Airlines (UA/UAL) routes and destinations | Flightradar24)
  2. Pick your poison

Medium Lift
(What I’ve been doing lately)

  1. Go to: https://www.flightsfrom.com/
  2. Enter an airport you want to fly to or depart from
  3. Filter by duration of flight
  4. Go to flightaware.com to find the flight
  5. Load it into IF

I use the Simbrief integration for all my flights, so once I find I route, Simbrief takes care of the rest.

Heaviest Lift

  1. Create your own route with the airline of your choice (just do not run out of fuel and be responsible) 😁
  2. Departing airport + airline (should be hub for departing airport) + livery (for the aircraft type & airline) should be “realistic”
  3. Even though the route may not exist, you can create it via Simbrief

Hmm, added maybe an hour to the flight time

Long time ago found this:

I wanted to do it and tried to draw It:

I was not available to download google earth app, so had to do it with tbh hard work from the page.

I did it near the hub of that day, took me 6 hours to complete.
