You guys complain for having to pay for an aircraft in Infinite Flight that cost $4.99 and want everything free. I find it extremely difficult to believe that you are willing to pay $929 - $1079 for a iPad with 512gb of storage. Not a well thought out idea if you ask me based on comments that have been made in the past by other members. đ¤ˇđźââď¸

Maybe its not about money, but about how much people think things are worth. If people think $4.99 for a plane is a ripoff (I donât) they wonât buy it, but if they think an iPad is worth $1000 (itâs not) theyâll buy it. Besides, based on previous comments, the download size wonât even be near 500GB (speculation, I know, hang me) so they can easily play on their budget phones or tablets if they want.

Yeah, most likely that much I couldnât find anything on how much storage it would take up.
I think it depends on the region, the French Alps could take up a lot of storage due to the topography.

No, more like fear of losing all my data, I have like thousands of pictures stored in two different hard drives and on the cloud. Iâm very protective of my data, ever since one time as a kid I thought I had deleted all our pictures on my mothersâ PC and had a nervous meltdown crying like a river, until she recovered everything.
PS: No Iâm not one of those paranoid people about the NSA and privacy, in fact I couldnât care less, I just dont ever wanna lose my photos

Airports and NAV data would have to be updated anyways, regardless of map size. There just would be more of them.
It would be cool if you could download small sections of the globe, which has been mentioned before. But I donât think downloading the whole globe is possible, not until 2025 at least.

I donât understand why you have to say this. He may of made a feature request for something that he may not want but others may want. He obviously wants this but he may want a different feature more. And you would say then why would you make this post? And I say that other people may want, and considering that we i it have a small number of votes. Itâs unfair for you to say this, because it is not nice or fair to say this, and this is why I flagged it.
Iâm sorry that you feel that my response was demeaning however itâs quite the opposite. My request to him was to follow basic forum etiquette, if the OP posts a request then the OP is expected to vote and stand behind their intent. Also, I asked for everyone to have some faith in FDS and the product that we will receive, obviously they wonât be able to appease everyone and there are some obstacles along the way but so is life my friend. No, because in the current version where we all have the terrain, airports and nav data downloaded and updated whenever major updates release, everyone has the same airports and nav data. In global, where terrain is streamed from a server the server could be updated daily/weekly with new data, people who downloaded the whole globe wouldnât get these updates so if (for example) a taxiway at KORD was removed and someone with old data used it they would be ghosted for taxiing through grass or if ATC asked them to hold at a certain point their game wouldnât display it

Youâd probably just be required to update your data before playing online
