Fuel remaining is the same as before start ap+

After a 15 hours flight you expect the fuel to be consume in order to safe land the plane and not excede mlw , but im very surprised that on a380 (airbus) the fuel is the same as before activate the autopilot+ , so i have to dup duel in order to start the descend , to land the plane , and if i switch to “fuel used” it says” 0 “, same with the time “live set” , it freeze at the start time , the cloud altitude and density is restored as well ,all of this after the ap+ was released , in my country the subscript is about 10 dollar , is Quito a bit annoyng that updates are not properly tested before get out and raise the income sorry for my bad language , hello from Romania ,l!

AP+ is something that is still in the works… the IF crew is always looking for bugs and ways to solve them, it takes a lot more work that you think. Anyhow, addressing the problem, this is something I have never personally experienced, so my knowledge is limited, and I cannot do anything about it. However if you could send screenshots and/or try again and see if you have any problems then, that would be greatly appreciated. This is likely not a problem of the A380 but of AP+, so I do expect for a dev to respond and possibly fix this. Thanks for listening and hope you have a great time here on IF.

I haven’t noticed the fuel usage thing, although tbf I did have a lot of fuel left on my last flight. I have noticed the clouds resetting, and it randomly deleting some altitudes from my FPL. Definitely not major things at all, but I see why the fuel thing would be irritating.

I realized this and the XP! For example I just blasted my longest flight out of the water for what was meant to be a flight from Bangkok to Buenos Aires to see how well the a350 can actually perform, well about 17 hours in it had only used a fraction of the full tank so I routed it for Boston to see if I could truly make it. Not only did I make it but was able to preform a touch and go at KPSM (my home airport) but make it to Boston with plenty of fuel left, following the flight I was given 125000 XP! I have done Singapore to New York took 18 hours and was only given just under 10000xp pre AP+. Now I absolutely love AP+ because my old iPad can finally be used again for flying without risk of device crash. But needless to say I have noticed the same thing and here is some screenshot shots to show it. Cruise was FL320 then went to FL360, I enjoyed seeing how long I could go though and it will likely never be broken again if it gets fixed!

Well If u are using AP+ carry less fuel thats the best option since Most have said AP+ doesn’t use the fuel like when u dont use it since when you turn it on all the conditions like airspeed , wind and all factors comes to standstill .
What i recommend and would say the best is using Sim brief , while planing your flight go to the fuel section and change the FUEL FACTOR from P00 to M10 or more

This will reduce the amount of fuel taken onboard and eliminate the need for fuel dumping Especially best for aircrafts without dump feature like 320 and 737

I hope this might help some who have had the issue😄
Happy Flying!!!
