Hello,
Flying from DFW to SYD in a 787-9. At departure, I had 90% fuel. It is a 16h30 min flight. I used Auto Pilot + and am now approaching SYD. According to @AndrewWu topic, the maximum flight time of a 787-9 is 19h30. How is it possible that after 17hours of flying ( for some reason because of Autopilot + flight time is now 18 hours instead of 16h30 ) I still have 57% of fuel ? That is a problem because I am slightly overweight for landing.
Cheers, @IFlyer

Officials have previously explained that AP+ “conservatively” calculates fuel consumption.
And what exactly does that mean ?

Hey, this a known issue with autopilot+. Apparently at cruise, you burn significantly lower fuel if you turn it on and leave. It should hopefully be fixed in a later update.

if you’re in a 787-9, you can dump fuel so you’re not over MLW
