You should lower to 32 or 34. Almost all IF aircraft have better fuel efficency at lower altitudes than irl

You are more efficient at higher altitudes… that’s why step climbing exists.

Step climb occasionally into your flight. You won’t make it all the way up to 40,000 if you go straight up; you’ll stall and crash.

Yes step climbing exists. However the optimal altitude is not always the ceiling…
I think the worst disruptency is the A350: According to my fuel tests, at M0.85 the most efficent altitude is never above FL350, even when the aircraft is practically empty.
