Good morning. Before the latest update, I was flying KLAX to YBBN (round trip) with the A330 without any issues. Since the update, whenever I resume a flight using AutoPilot+, it shows that I’m out of fuel.
This has happened about three times so far. On my last attempt, I even loaded maximum fuel well above what the flight requires but I still encountered the same issue.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Before the update, I was running the same setup with the same fuel load and passenger count and everything worked perfectly. But since the update, I keep running into “out of fuel” issues even with similar conditions.
Looks like I’m also having a similar problem on my end.
Was flying from RJAA to PHNL on the A380 and I took off with 100% fuel but when I came back, I had less than 5% fuel left and I had no choice but to divert to PHLI to refuel because the ETE indicated that I would not make it to Honolulu.
removed all passengers and cargo and used maximum fuel, but the issue still remains. As I mentioned earlier, this wasn’t happening before last week’s update.
I installed the hotfix this afternoon and the aircraft is currently in flight—I’ll update again in the morning.
Also, I noticed that after resuming the flight 2–3 hours in, the fuel was showing only 20 kg Usage
I think IF should take a look on it. I when I land I forget to check how much fuel I have and always I above MLW and happens with all the aircraft. I usually have to do Fuel Dump before 7000 feet.
same with me using the 777. Before update, I always land with tons of fuel maybe around 20% fuel, but this time i land with only 5% fuel and almost no fuel at all. Luckily I managed to land before the fuel ran out.
I experienced this situation myself, and based on my observations, let me explain: If Simbrief gives you, for example, 36k feet, and you stay below or above 36k during the flight, you will remain above MLW.
