Description
I took off in a B77W with about 50% fuel, set cruise to Mach 0.80, left it on AP+, and somehow just two hours later I was down to around 8% fuel… what?
I had roughly 76,150 kg after takeoff, with an expected burn of about 5,000 kg/hr, so how did it drop to only ~10,400 kg in just two hours?
This never used to happen to me before the beta.
Also, when I check “Fuel Used,” it only shows the fuel burned since I logged back in, not since takeoff. This particular issue is not new.

Hey there! Unfortunately, fuel issues are quite common right now with AP+, whether adding or deleting fuel in large amounts. It has been noted internally and the devs are aware! Hopefully we can get a fix coming our way in the near future!

Maybe if you use simbrief and go to AP+ mode, your fuel is adjusted according to the fuel set in the simbrief which is normally set as minimum amount.
When you plan your flight with simbrief, you need to go to fuel planning tab and set contingency fuel and reserve fuel to about 15% 90 minutes respectively.
For high performance aircraft with high ETOPs ratings like the A350 it’s 5% or 5 min. I cross the Pacific with that reserve intact.
Fuel is not being burned correctly either, on a 13 hour flight i put like 17 hour fuel and put it to autopilot plus, i reached the destination airport and when i engaged APPR it showed an error that i was overweight meaning i couldnt do the approach plus my speed was much faster than usual

Im doing KMIA-SAEZ with the 777-200 and up to 6 hours of flight the plane consumed 36t of fuel, however between 6 and 8 hours of flight time the plane consumed 21t of fuel(21t in just 2 hours)
I just had an issue with it where I didn’t burn the correct about of fuel. I burned only around 25t over 9 hours which should be a lot more.
I have started a flight with 146.000 kg of fuel and 8 hours in and Ive already lost 100.000kg worth of fuel
