We’ll need more details about the flight to be able to help you out. What aircraft did you fly this route with?
I flew the Boeing 777-200ER United
Callsign United 2856H
32% in a 772 should be fine for the 6 hours over to London. What exactly do you mean by the question? Are you saying that you loaded 100% but 68% of it disappeared before you got to the runway?
Yes correct
Did you use the Simbrief integration? I remember someone saying a couple days ago they managed to burn some crazy amount of fuel in like 20 minutes and it was a bug with the Simbrief.
I use simbrief for all flights
No but like are you directly using the IF integration or manually entering in the numbers based on the OFP?
I do use the Integration
If you set the integration after already setting the fuel then it would just reduce it down to the Simbrief fuel which very well could be 32% (although I think I would expect a bit more, let me confirm).
I don’t add the fuel in simbrief cause it gives automatic fuel burn and how much fuel and other too
you must if you use the simbrief integration as it automatically does it for you. Including automatically adding it to weight and balance
If you loaded the fuel to 100% and THEN integrated with Simbrief then the Simbrief fuel overwrites what you had before. You need to re-load the fuel manually after in that case.
In this scenario, the simbrief integration is overriding the fuel you manually loaded. Could you compare the the simbrief fuel and the 32 percent and see if it is the same. I would recommend loading simbrief fuel and then manually adding more after that in the future.
Ahaaaaaaa I didn’t actually think that
Why wouldn’t you just use the Simbrief estimates anyways? You do not need full tanks to go EWR LHR and you’re likely going to be above MLW on landing.
ahaaaa so 32% will fit for a 6 Hr flight
I just did a Simbrief for 772 and it’s asking for 98k lbs which is exactly 32%, so yes it should be fine. Due to the IF 772’s hyperefficiency you can actually get away with as low as 29% with a full load of passengers and cargo and with a reasonable load 26%. Full fuel on a 772 while filling up passengers and cargo to MTOW is a 25 hour flight.
