Frontier Expands With 8 New Leisure Routes

Source
Frontier Airlines has just announced yet ANOTHER expansion from the Orlando airport, which seems to be their more leisure focused hub at the time, in order to bring guests from around the country to Walt Disney World. Their latest expansion includes 3 new cities for frontier. Starting at 29 dollars and ranging up to 250 dollars, they will fly to San Jose (Mexico), Nassau, St. Maarten. They will also add San Jose (Mexico) to Miami, Cancun to Dallas, Miami to Myrtle Beach, San Jose (Mexico), and Nassau.

All the services will begin in late June or early July 2021. They will be operated with (as normal), A321/A320 airplanes.

Exciting that they are start to fly to St Maarten! I’m also interested in the San Juan to St Thomas route.

Lots of new leisure routes as you wrote, which is not too surprising considering the current market environment.
Great to see new routes, which is much needed in these still very difficult times! Thanks for breaking the news!

Huh, San Juan to St. Thomas is interesting. Competes directly with JetBlue and I believe it’s JetBlue’s shortest flight (so now Frontier’s as well?). Will be interesting to see how that one goes with a plane as big as the A320 considering JetBlue uses the E190 on it.
