Frontier Airlines “Orville the Cardinal” A320-214

I mean, who doesn’t love a fat birb?

Frontier Airlines, as you may know, features numerous animals on their aircraft. I present to you their Orville the Cardinal livery, featured on one of their Airbus A320s. Cute, right?

The Airbus A320 is a narrow-body aircraft designed and first flown in the late 1980s. With a usual capacity of 175 passengers, the A320 is a great fit for short haul, domestic routes from city to city. The maximum range of the A320 is 3,300 nautical miles.

Frontier Airlines is a low-cost carrier based in Denver, Colorado, United States of America. Operating out of a few key cities such as Denver, Orlando, and Las Vegas, Frontier is designed as a low-cost vacation airline that claims they are environmentally friendly. They paint numerous animals on their aircraft from various biomes of the world.

A cardinal is a red bird found in temperate environments across North and South America. The cardinal is usually 4-8 inches tall, with red feathers and a dark face, surrounding an orange beak. These birds commonly feed on small seeds. Cardinals are named after the biretta of a Catholic cardinal, both of which feature similar qualities.

Why don’t you leave a vote for this nice livery? We only have one new Frontier A320 livery in IF, and this would be another great addition. All information found has been paraphrased from Wikipedia.

  • Feature requests may not be created for temporary or special liveries (such as for events or raising awareness). Avoiding these often complex designs (e.g. AeroMexico “Quetzalcóatl” on the B787-9) will ensure that our primary focus is on representing as many airlines as possible in-app

Due to this, this feature request has been closed and all votes returned to their users so that they can be used to vote on other features they would like to see in-app. For more information on what is permitted, please visit the About the Features Category.
